The course supplements the ongoing preparations of the CFA® Level I & Level II candidates. It is a condensed course that covers the complete syllabus in just 12 tutorial sessions. It also includes two mock exams and a complete day of doubt solving after the mock exams.
The course is useful for candidates to bring their preparation up to speed for the exam and also fill the gaps in their understanding & strengthen their concepts. Basic Derivatives Course :
This course acts a primer for understanding the concepts of derivatives. It covers the use of derivatives in hedging, speculating and arbitraging. The course also covers some of the basic derivative trading strategies. It is a course for participants with low knowledge of derivatives thus, helping them gain a start in this vast domain of derivatives.
Exotic Derivatives Course :
This is the first course of its type being offered wherein topics pertaining to exotic options such as understanding some of the basic exotic option strategies, the payoffs, and the usage of these structured products for Asset Liability Management (ALM) would be covered. One would also learn some of the concepts used in structuring and pricing these Exotic Options and also the significance of Termsheets used in Banking Transactions.
Advanced Derivatives Course :
This course covers more advanced topics on derivatives such as Black Scholes and Binomial Pricing. It also covers some of the more advanced derivative trading strategies. It is a course for participants with a fair bit of knowledge about derivatives and a good grip over the basic concepts.
